Vitality was created in 2018 in an effort to bring holistic health to the people of Luling, Texas and surrounding areas. Dr. Kamala Lewis has been practicing dentistry in Luling for 25 years, however in her practice she became increasingly interested in more natural forms of medicine to bring health and healing. Dr. Lewis received her Doctor of Naturopathy from Trinity School of Natural Health in 2018.

Dr. Lewis established Luling Dental PLLC in Luling, Texas in 1995. Born in Austin, Texas, she gained early acceptance at the University Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio in 1991 and graduated in 1995. Later, Dr. Lewis and her husband, Tim, moved to Luling from San Antonio and she set up her practice. They have 2 children, Mali and Madeline.
Dr. Lewis is being kept busy by her practice and her family. In her spare time, she loves to read and enjoys civic activities. She has served as a member of the Luling Independent School District Board of Trustees, the Seton Hospital Advisory Board, the Luling Lions Club, and a former president of the Luling Chamber of Commerce.
Her latest passion is natural medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathy in 2018.

Mali Ivey
Mali is Doctor Lewis' oldest daughter and manager of Vitality. After graduating with her Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture from Texas State University, Mali joined her mom in opening Vitality in 2018. During this time Mali completed her Master's in Sustainable Agriculture from Sam Houston University through correspondence courses, graduating in 2020.
Mali enjoys learning about holistic healthand integrating it into her lifestyle. In her spare time she gardens and renovates her home with her husband Leon and their dog Molly. She also raises cattle and bees and works to educate people on where their food comes from and how it can be sustainably produced.
